CISF has supported scholar-leaders at many highly-regarded schools including:
USA: Trinity International University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Dallas Seminary, Harvard University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Columbia Theological Seminary; Canada: Regent College UK: Oxford University, Oxford Center for World Missions , London School of Theology; France: Faculte Libre de Theologie Evangelique (Vaux-sur-Seine); Asia: China Graduate School of Theology (Hong Kong), Trinity Theological College (Singapore); Africa: Akrofi-Christaller Center (Ghana), Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (Kenya), Bangui Evangelical School of Theology, University Kwazulu-Natal
CISF only sponsors scholars who sign a covenant to return and helps fund the doctoral studies of select senior Christian leaders from Emerging World countries. CISF specifically help those men and women who have exhausted their educational opportunities in their home country and continent and have senior leadership positions waiting for them upon their return home. CISF do not support undergraduate work, masters work (M.Div., MA, MAR) or Doctorate of Ministry degrees and studies in non-theological fields.
Annual schoarship support ranges from $10-20,000 per year for each CISF scholar, depending on the individual and the institution and are renewable for approximately four years.. Because the CISF board covers administrative costs, all contributions fund scholarships.
